Creative Marketing On Another Level: Lexus Cardboard Car

Marketing campaigns done by car manufacturers these days usually come in form a well thought out high production value commercials with catchy slogans. Lexus decided to step away from this approach and do something completely different. They wanted to bring their 2015 Lexus IS a bit closer to their potential customers by making a full size model completely out of cardboard. Even though this is quite astonishing, the story doesn’t end there. This cardboard car can also be driven. Here’s the story behind this incredible project.

In order to complete their vision, Lexus contacted LaserCut Works, Scales, and Models, a design firm based in London, who gladly accepted the challenge and began planing the project.
